The winners of the one off qualifying event will receive a first prize of an all-expenses paid trip to Portugal from 21st to 26th June 2016, to represent both their Company & Ireland for this year’s World Final. What a prize… and the chance to put your company on the international stage!!!
MKPSE, a marketing company based in Tuam, Co Galway acquired the license a few months ago from the World Corporate Golf Challenge to run the qualifying rounds for this competition in Ireland for the next four years. This year, due to Ireland’s late entry into the event, there will only be a single 18-hole qualifying event held to find a corporate team to represent Ireland at this year’s WCGC Final which will be held at the exclusive Oitavos Dunes Golf Club in Portugal. The format of the qualifying competition is for two person corporate teams, using stableford points, using 3/4 handicaps with both scores to count.
The qualifying competition will be held at the Palmerstown Stud Golf Club, starting at 11am, on Thursday the 2nd of June, 2016. Palmerstown Stud Golf Club, located near Naas Co Kildare is about 20 minutes south west of Dublin. The course which was designed by Christy O’Connor Junior is set amidst thousands of mature trees and is perfect condition to host such a prestige event.
The cost of entering a team is €300 and with limited places it would make sense to enter your team quickly. Further information along with a registration form is available here
